Just come across these transcribed notes of a sermon delivered in 1975 by Dr. Ern Baxter speaking to 5000+ church leaders in Kansas City. Many say that this was his/the most powerful/anointed sermon of the late 20th century ..... judge for yourself.
There are audio copies on youtube but the quality is very poor. Funny how we have got so used to crystal clear sound and take it for granted.
I will provide links to an mp3 file but you have been warned. The transcribed notes are best used in parallel to the audio to understand and gain the full impact of this outstanding sermon.
I have sat listening to this guy over a weekend of intensive training in the mid seventies, and have not yet found any better material for laying the foundations for our growth and development into disciples. These notes form the basis of the Beginnings and Church Life studies.
Thy Kingdom Come by Dr. Ern Baxter - Kansas City 1975 this is an 81 minute mp3 file concatenated from nine youtube derived audio files. There are some quiet spots, just keep playing.
The following are the links for the transcripts - note these are not word for word, hence using both these and the audio works well.
Amazing how this sermon delivered in 1975 is so relevant and applicable to 2018! Indeed Truth doesn't age!
