The books and resources listed have been instructional and informative to me. Some of these will challenge your thinking and stance on many issues you may have thought were "gospel and biblically sound".
I have discovered that many things I took for granted and thought were based upon God's view of the world were nothing more than cultural norms or more technically my "world-view". Just because the society I live in and the people around me think as I do, does not mean that God holds this view. Indeed, as I have spent an increased ratio of reading and listening to the Bible compared to other media inputs (books, video, television) I have been somewhat surprised at what has been revealed.
